US TARIFFS

US Customers -

Up until 29th August 2025, international packages with a value of under $800 USD could enter the US duty-free due to the de minimis exemption. The US Government has announced that from the 29th of August, this is going to end.

This means that all postal shipments (REGARDLESS of value) entering the US after the 29th of August 2025 will now be subject to duties, tariffs, and processing/broker fees even if the value is under $800 USD.

In Short:

  • U.S. customers are now required to pay these tariffs by order of the U.S. Government. The amount of tariff depends on the country of origin.
  • As of 29th August 2025, the U.S. Government have placed tariffs on all items entering the United States.
  • It has been ordered that it is the individual seller's responsibility to collect these tariffs from the US customer instead of US customs.

  • The tariff set for New Zealand (where I am based) by the US Government is 15%, which will be included in the prices of my products if you are ordering from the US.
  • Please note that the final total you see at checkout contains 15% tariffs, which will be paid to the US Government (this amount is NOT kept by me)
